User-placed markers on map

Alright, I'd like to see something implemented to let players put permanent markers on their world map showing different locations of interest. I'm sure that a real-world person who has a point of interestt and a map of the area is going to combine the two. I've found collectors, interesting scenery, and groups of nice baddies while exploring, but I've been hard-pressed to remember where many of them are. I'd like to be able to mark this for future reference.

And add little post-it like notes for each thumbtack/marker!

This has been suggested over & over. I wouldn't be surprised if we see it implemented in the first expansion. I have a friend that's an alpha tester and he said they all requested it as well during testing, so that should help.
