So you get a blue chest, orange leggings, green boots, and purple gloves...
For some reason, that does not appeal to me.
As of now, the only thing you can really do to help people diversify is to make dye easily available to everyone. I was thinking of something where you could remove chips and piece from your armor [to look worn], but you'd have a bunch of nearly naked female Elementalists running around.

Wow, I was about to use those same two words. You can't expect everything to be the way you want it. I don't think you could have played D2 for very long.
Most people are satisfied with the dyes they can easily afford later on in the game and the great gameplay GW possess. Some have yet to discover you can mix colors.
It makes you look really shallow when you threaten to quit a game because your character doesn't look like you want it to.
