Question on two skills

I don't have the means to test this out, was just curious as to this effect.

Say I have Holy Veil on, and get hit with Lingering Curse, I know Holy Veil would die, but would it take Lingering out with it? The whole half-healing thing has caught me off gaurd numerous times (without HV up), just got curious.

I believe Lingering Curse will still be up.
I mean:
Elite Hex Spell. Sacrifice 10% max Health. Target foe loses all Enchantments. For x seconds, target foe gains only half Health from healing prayers.

- Target foe loses all Enchantments.
- For x seconds, target foe gains only half Health from healing prayers.

At the start it works like Rend Enchants and only then the hex take effect.

Haven't tested it... I'm too lazy to organise unrated GvG just for this

It'll strip Holy Viel, then apply the hex.
