david is king and goliath retires in asia a wea;thy man. This can and will happen. The main problem is there is no way to regulate a non-guild player placing a bet on the behalf of an in match guild. If my guild is supposed to win 100-1 and i have a non-guild friend place 10k on the other team, ill take a dive for 1,000 k. Especialy if my guild is sooo good that the rank loss can be made up in short order. solution? maybe a strictly player to player betting system...go into a specific area...a large betting hall...have people there hawk their bets the same as in towns. Maybe do it match by match. Give five minutes previous to any major for all betting to take place. Maybe you could put a 10k max bet and dont let odds get over 2-1. If anybody has any suggestions it would be greast. I "bet" gw would implement it if they knew how.n
Ok hear this one. I know guild wars is talking about being able to spectate high ranked cool gvg battles. How about having a complete betting system linked up with these uber-interesting matches. There could be odds set up and stats recorded. I dont know how betting systems are tabulated but i know it works for horse races so there has to be a way to do it on gw. Can anyone take a dive at the problem. David vs. Goliath. Goliath falls down to a rock in the head
