I tried the Mesmer/Necromancer build in Pre-Searing. I worked the build in various combinations for 9 levels in Pre-Searing. In that time I was unable to obtain a single decent weapon to take to Post-Searing (something above +3 Energy/Dmg 3-5) appropriate for a Mesmer. The best weapons in fact that I could get were a bow and a sword, neither of which were of any benefit to me as a Mesmer. The character committed suicide this afternoon.

PS. So did the decrepit looking Necromancer I tried to start but destroyed because of the way it stands and behaves.
