Money Statistics

Not sure if everyone read the entire article, and that was interesting. Selling that ‘OMG!Z SUPA! GOLDUBER1 Hammer!!11!’ for 20k looks a little harder now.

I guess I need a point for this topic, so how much money do you REALLY have? (no need for exact gold pieces)

I have around 313k. But also commodities like gems. So around 375k total, depending on how you value gems. And then there are HoD swords... The problem is, worth isn't all about cash.

Now, if you counted items, there'd be a lot more. But as it is, I don't like letting money sit around.

I have a character full of materials, including 250 fangs, 250 claws, 250 eyes, 250 ink, 250 spiritwood...i'm working on steel, linen, fur etc now.

I have 4 characters full of max golds and decent purples and i have 1 character that is almost full of greens and golds with just 3 spaces left.

I have 3 characters that i use for playing. R/Mo, W/Mo, M/whatever.

Couple +5 eng swords
etc.

About 300K in four accounts, I think. Have given away about 100K to guildmates, plus a lot of gear. Still have half a dozen really expensive weapons.

But I'm not surprised at these statistics. I've never thought Guildwars suffered from inflation (too much money), I've always felt it suffered from mudflation (too much ubergear).

400k in storage, few platinum ok chars, 30 ecto, and HoD sword, and some items, but i can't get more, because i spend all on unind weapons, that is my addiction !

Now i got like 15k in total, but i got some uber weapons worth around 200k..

1st account:
800k in storage

2nd account:
250K in storage

Since I don't want to farm day and night, I think I'm in that 75%. Well, maybe not, I have around 30k in cash now. Still, the difference between rich and poor is simply sick - as shown by some here.

I have around 35k in cash, and two characters have 15k armor plus green weapons. I also have two more green weapons plus some materials and crap lying around, but that doesn't amount to much

I could scrape together 35k from all my characters

This is gonna hurt...

I have about 39k between my 3 pve characters and storage.

Add everything together...about 30k. 60k was my all time high. I don't farm, and tend not to stint on something if i can afford it. But it's a comfy amount of money. It accumulated by itself as i PvE'd, so no effort put into getting it. I spend when there's something i want, and i tend to be able to afford most things. But i don't go crazy, so it tends to replenish itself. The money balance in GW seems about right, to me. However, this is with steading PvE, bringing various chars through the game. Now that i've gotten bored with that, and am playing more and more PvP, my reserves are getting depleted...maybe a reward in gold of roughly the same amount as the faction rewards would be a good idea?
