Wach out for in Lions Arc

Just like to inform people to watch out for " Playboy Light ". He got me for 100k =(. Had a eternal shield for sale for 200k. Went to get it and trusted him. Gave him the first 100k upfront. Then on second 100k trade he swapped the shield with a different junk one. Upon saying something he logged off.
I'm not saying dont trade with him. As he may sell correctly sometime. I am saying just watch out for him. Ive always given my money first for items over 100k without a problem. Guess now ill be thinking twice. Happened in Lions Arc D1 @ 3:45am EST. Don't want to see anyone else fall into his traps. Especially those who are always short on money. For me its not much of a big deal. Though I would have rather been forced to give the 100k away to some new players.

well, im sorry that that happened...i see him on here all the time, i will surely beware and spread the word, but you can always use the moderator, or simply just use ectos, but i would never give any1 100k upfront with out an item, but hey too bad u didnt get a screenshot, or did you , im not sure if that woudhelp much considering you were the one that trusted him, thats too bad tho there are people like that, especially lurking in the "higher" parts of this forum. but hopefully enough people read this, and well hell...ill never do business with him, nor other people liek that

yeah , ive been traped also , luck i never had more then 10 k of gold. i look at some weapons , then i say , yes ill give you 3 k for that one ... when the person takes all out to just leave one , puts one just like the one i chose but not the same stats .,.. if you are inpatient , like i was .. there goes your gold , for a trashy item .. 3 k was already a lot for the first item ...

i stop trading after this , now my storage is full of green and golds , i dont sell them anymore , i hate the traders( scamers its the same to me )
so i give my golds to noobs for free

Its better (IMO) to sell them via a forum like this one.

I havent done that yet, I have only brought one thing via the game and got a decent fair price for it from a decent bloke.

But if you sell it via the forum, then atleast you have some kind of comeback as you can post in the thread that you where scammed etc....

It wont get you your money back, but atleast you will know that the other members will avoid.

Yes, I going to try and stick to forums for 100k+ items. Its not to much of a big deal to me. I have about 1.5m spread across 2 accounts. I just dont want to see the smaller ppl =P. Who have money problems get caught in something like this. Main reason I decided to make a post. Stinks when you save up a set amount of money to buy a piece of equipment and then someone comes around and kinda just takes it from you. Though I think its also partly NC's fault for not increasing the gold you can carry. I think they should look into doing something about that.

i did post some items to sell here , but they went deep in pages , no one replyed , im not sure if my items are that crapy ... greens and golds , but not even one bid i got ..
anyway i agree forums are better then ascalon or lians arch
