Or, what to do if you got everything... ?

Theres 456 skills to unlock (incl resurrection signet and signet of capture).
With quests and 21 skillpoints till level 20 you get ~2/6 of them (2 classes) , so you still need ~ +300 Skill points after level 20. Thats ~ +4.500.000 xp to unlock all skills with a single pve character.
The most effective and most boring way to gain xp is getting up to 45k experience per 30 minutes in the underworld, that would need ~100 hours of nonstop Underworld and a lot of Berserkers Insight.
(done similar, getting ~30k xp every 30 minutes in the UW gets quite boring after the 20th run)

Who here is closest to UAS with a single character by simply having ~5.000.000 xp?
Just asking, because i still like PvE after unlocking everything with 6 characters and barely one of them ever got near 1.000.000 xp. I just deletet them every now and then to get space for another one.
Now green items make keeping your pve characters more interestring so i do not delete them that often, skyrocketing the monk with all the scrolls and green items I get (only interestring item next to green items by now), and its more fun than the underworld for me.

solo farming and getting more fame? its worthless, go away!!!

The levels of exp you are looking for, require that you solo farm.

When I farm, I get 79-84% of a skill point per run. About 3 minutes.

I'm not sure how much experience I have across players, but I know with my W/Mo I had enough skill points to unlock everything (including elites, whenever I get around to capping them) in the W/Mo line aside from axe, hammer, and divine favor skills...I did that all before the Sorrow's Furnace update lol.

I feel like I play too much already :P I probably can unlock from the other lines now, but 1k per skill makes me cringe if I'm not going to use it anyways.

456 skills eh? Oh well, I'm set for the expansion.

Just need some gold and the patience to find every boss I need to cap from.

Not that I doubt of your word Dralspire, but I'm really curious to see a screenshot of your 'Hero' window. With the char select screen I cant see much (apart of some nice FoW armors heh)

people still unlock things with skills and caps. wow.

you should pvp if you want to unlock things fast. i spent about a 2 weeks doing just competition arena and have unlocked every elite i need and skills. already had all the runes from pve farming. then upgrades doesn't really matter.

Unlocked greater conflag last night by doing the final mission again.

Much more fun (imo) than faction.

That's awesome. Must have a lot of time to unlock all of those skills.

The one thing with this method is that you can't actually USE these skills on a PvE character (which is what I think the OP was talking about). It'd be great if there was some sort of system where if a skill was unlocked on your account, it would be cheaper to acquire for any other PvE characters who you have.

I'm aiming for unlocking all the skills on my farming monk. It really isn't that hard. And no, I've unlocked all the elites for 5 classes within 4 days of playing. Albeit I had the skill points already but it was time to do something with them. I just need to bring my ele up and unlock those elites.
