Flame corridor? Isn't that the bonus quest for the ruins of surmia mission? Because me and a few friends have been scouring that area for the longest time and we cannot figure out how to beat that bonus quest. We kill the flame keeper charr, but then nothing else happens. We explore the rest of the area, but parts are blocked off by gates. I'm guessing the flame corridor is past those rickety wooden gates, if that helps you any

follow the flame keepers until they come to a gate and it opens, then kill them. Then run up a hill that is to the left as you enter the gate and you'll see the flame temple

It's South-West of Nolani, well the map next to Nolani, can't remember the name right now, where the Courthouse is too, very right bottom corner of it!

Once you talked to the guy giving you the bonus mission a group of weird-named Charrs appears close to your group, do NOT attack this group, follow it and they'll lead you to a locked gate and open it, there you go! |

In the last BWE it was located in the Diessa Lowlands even though the quest log stated it was in the Flame Temple Corridor. It's been fixed and is now actually located in the Flame Temple Corridor. There is a Charr Altar on top of the last pyramid structure just before you get to the portal to Dragon's Gullet, click on it to get the ashes. It's VERY well guarded, so be careful.

Grendich Courthouse is actually Northeast of the Nolani Academy. And her name is Althea, not Athena. Athena was a Greek goddess. This is just some crazy lady whose relationship with Prince Rurik you nurtured with birthday presents in pre-searing ascalon. Sure, the experience points were great, but not even a bout of thank you sex. What the hell is wrong with this game?

And what the quest says is "Charr Flame Temple," not "Flame Temple Corridor."

Umm... We must be talking about two different quests. In mine it says "Please go to the Flame Temple Corridor and gather Althea's ashes. I believe the Charr Flame Temple is in the Ruins of Surmia as others have mentioned.
