Hi,

Asking this here because I have not seen any recent posts on this

#1 -> How do you name your pet?
#2 ->Are Wolves/Bears still tamable. There was talk that successfully taming these was a bug

Anyone have further info on pet comparison? The makers have made it easy to swap them, so it would stand to reason you would have a reason to want to. (IE get a better pet)

To name your pet: /namepet xxx

I don't think bears are tameable as of yet.... they break the charm very easily.

You can sell or give you pet to pet tamers accross the lands, or you can simply un-equip your charm animal skill and re-equip it.

Bears can be tamed, if you use a spell * Amity* on yourself, so they cannot attack you.

un-equip then re-equip charm animal still brings the same animal out... just means you dont take the pet with you while its unequipped, it doesn't uncharm the pet.

I've also thought of another way to get the bear: party with a friend and let the friend attack it. While it's fighting with your friend use the taming spell on it.
I didn't test this though :/
Amity spell is from what class?

u can tame snow wolves at yaks bend after u finish the mish at ascolan

the bear charm breaker is an instant area effect... even if u charm it from far, it can still break the charm... even if u have 2 people doing charm, it still break 2 ppl's charm all at once.

How does one "untame" a pet? I hear you can't tame a new one unless you ditch the old one.

there are people called tamers around. for example right behind Nente (the guy you get Charm Animal from) is one. Talk to him; he gives the option to get rid of your pet. There is also one outside of Ascalon post-sear. Can't remember where else i've seen them but they are scattered around
