the warrior problem

the warrior have some plus effects that is negative for others that dont have them. the warrior can harvest gold(droknar run!!, do i need to say more!). this leads to harvesting of keys and that leads to they get their hands on good items. these items they sell for crazy prices like 30-40k. other people that gotta play 5 days 24 hours at least to get that amount of gold, feel cheated. this is very unfair for the rest that didnt choose warrior.

i got one solution for this problem and that is to increase the rate of getting good things for the people that didnt choose warrior, ofcourse the warrior get their own good axes,sword and thing that is usefull for only them. but they get only crap items for others.

now they can sell the good axe,sword whatever to other warriors at 30-100k or higher ridiculous prices. now we other poor people can buy or trade with other poor people for normal prices like 3-10k for a good item, if we dont get one good item from one of the chests.

i dont say my solution is the final solution... but it would get the rich warriors out there of the poors people backs.

no. i have never farmind with my warrior in her life. i have never farmed full stop. just because i fancied a change from casters i now get crap drops? because we have 4 character slots you are almost guaranteed to have a farming capable character in there. (rangers can run droks too.)

try sorrows furnace. my warrior hasn't even managed to get there yet. my monk has made 100k+ from drops (this is in quest groups)
as you can see my monk is a Mo/Me and is not an uber rich farmer (i now have about 120k : P). i'm a healer.
should i be peanalised for having a warrior? its not like you have much choice for tanking other than be a warrior.

@Charcoal Ann, i only have one char, becouse i dont want to spend 50-60 or more hours to get on top with each char. and when i have played thru the game i dont want to start allover again either... when i have used over 500 hours with one char, i know the game very good, and what my limit for this char i use is. so if i want to get money and the benefit that follow with the money in the game. i am forced to be a warrior and start all over....what choice is this?? i am a necro and this is what i like to play... as i typed earlyer up there, you can bring in the big cash easly with a warrior and other char you cant, so i think its fair that other char get a some benefit also when it comes to things and money.

if you use a ranger as a runner it is just pure luck, and there aint many using them as runners either. and why do they want to when they can just use a warrior that will run fast and easly, thru droknars with no death spawn.... i take droknars as the only exsample here now there are alot of other places you can run also..

i hate warriormonks so much i vote for a complete whipe of al paladins that use mending!

Every character has strengths that other characters don't.

You do realize that monks and elementalists are incredible farmers for gold & items, right? Even mesmers & necros can farm easily if with a good setup (or using their secondary profession).

Change your secondary to Warrior? If you do this, you can get some of those warrior skills that enable them to do runs and such.

Problem easily solved.

Wow, calling for a Warrior nerf? Can a warrior dump meteors on your head? No. Can a warrior heal someone for 300+ points? No (Heal Other+Divine Favor Attribute+Aura of Faith = wow.) Can a warrior have 90 energy? No. There are balances in the game that are there because they are there. I'm sure that you can find a way to farm with your favorite character. Heck, my Mesmer farms

My wa/mo only uses mending(with 0 in attribute) just to counteract the degen on my 3:1 vampiric. SMITE FTW!!!

Gold is pointless, you have to accept that fact. If you need to pay 100k for a weapon odds are you're doing it just for looks. Collectors have weapons that have max damage, decent requirements, and built-in max mods.

The only thing you really need gold for is Superior Vigor, Superior Absorption and maybe a Celestial Sigil. And if you have to buy a Superior Absorption, you must be a warrior... and guess what, you need those abilities to earn that kind of cash. Till then, a Major Vigor and Major Absorption are like 5k combined and they will get you by just fine. Monk superior runes have a higher price (although they will probably be dropping soon), but even still monks can farm just as good as warriors if not better.

Gold is not going to buy you skill, and this is a game about skill not uber items.

Sounds like one of those "This class is too powerful and they need to nerf it because i'm such a noob and can't figure out a better way to deal with it!" type of rant.
