Connecting...... [MERGED]

I'm having this issue too, and as it stands I cannot re-enter the game because of this connection issue. While I was in game i could not map travel, so I logged out hoping that would help but it doesn't, and now I cannot play. This is a server side issue. Hope it's being looked into.

The same thing is happening to me. Ruins of Semia.

Anyone get the feeling there was a, "Hey what's this thing do?"

Hopefully it will come back up soon.

SOB!!!! We just tried to log in and the same thing...any news why the log in servers are down or where to get official news.

I am having the exact same problem. I tried to go to the guild wars support website and I get "Internal Server Error".

Grr.... must ... play .. guild wars....

I have the same problem. My Guildmates can't reconnect either...

I've got the same problem, maybe the server is down or such.

dont know how GW does things but, when i was playing L2 they would bring the servers down for one hour to, i dont know debug them, download some upgrades , etc... stuff like that maybe that is what they r doing right now. Gotta have faith, for the server to be up soon.

I think there are some problems with the servers. Let's hope they resolve the situation soon

The makers of Guild Wars just screwed us over. In the arse.

They took our money, left the game open for a day to allow more people to buy it, then moved to Mexico. Seriously, I read it on http://www.cnn.com.

There will never be any more Guild Wars.

Yeah, given that the ever increasing number of users (1500 at the time of writing) are bringing the forum to a halt, I'd say it's probably happening to everyone.

This is where not having 'official forums' could be bad because they need a place to post server status when these situations happen

I dont know about everyone else..but as soon as I couldn't connect I opened up every single guild wars forums out there i was just woried it was my stupid internet being gay....

but another thing.. most times when they bring down a server to restart it or fix it up.. or do whatever... they usually anounce it .. so ..no telling how long it will be down ..

I cant connect also, I was after the ruins or Semia and it stuck on connecting...

So I tought about restarting the game, now it wont even log-in (says on connecting...)

And I restarted my pc ans still not working.

Shit.

And don't you like the error they give you when it times out "YOU may be having internet or routing problems"

...like it's probably YOUR fault...not that the servers may be down...
