Hi guys,
I went to Old Ascalon without getting all my skills for the ranger. Can I still get them once I'm in Old Ascalon? Is there a way to go back to the nice, green, lush Ascalon? I have all these quest items from that time... are they useless now? And does anyone know where the vault is in Old Ascalon? Thanks much!
Sincerely,
MK

Yes. I believe any that you missed in pre-seariing should be for sale from the Skills trainer in Ascalon city.

No, not unless you start a new character.

I believe so, if they were for a specific pre-searing quest. If you have the tapestry shred, that may be of some use in post-searing, as I haven't seen anyone that knows what quest it is for, although you can get it in pre-searing.

And does anyone know where the vault is in Old Ascalon?
In Ascalon city(Old Ascalon is just the area outside of the city), there will be 2 'Storage' NPC's. You'll have to pay 50g to access storage, and I believe there is storage in most/all cities that you can use after you pay the one-time fee.

For clarification on the vault, there are a couple vault keepers, called Xenlai Agents(or something like that) on a small hill off to the side of the portal out into the Old Ascalon explorable area. If you're hiking out of town into the EA, they'll be off to your right.

Thanks, guys... did I miss out on anything by jumping to Old Ascalon? Should I restart my character?

Eventually you'll want to try out another character if you're like most players. You can just do all the quests you missed then. There's nothing game-breaking about skipping the quests, you just miss out on some XP and a few mediocre items to sell in town.

Hi guys,
Thanks for the replies. I just REALLY dont want to be missing out on the skills I didnt get. Are you sure they are that easy to get in post-searing? I have read otherwise....

The skill trainers sell any skill you haven't already aquired from previous areas.

You really won't run into any place in the game where you can "miss" an ability. By the end , you'll have everything available to you.

note if you get it from a skill trainer it costs a skill point while there are skills to be had for free presear.

if you did the primary and secondary profession quests and got all the trainers for each you have what is offered
