Is GW MMORPG addictive?

Is GW dangeroulsy addictive like WoW or EQ, or is it much easier to play and have a life?

I have not taken a break since the servers opened for early access (39 hours ago). Well until now, because I was getting some lag and thought it would be better to just not play then yell at my PC for a couple hours. At first I wasn't really hooked and was forcing myself to play, then I just kinda got absorbed. I also have nothing else to do with my time right now so I haven't thought about sleep or whatever. I was also running on only 3 hours of sleep when the servers went up (was up all the day before, took a 3 hour nap from 9pm to 12). So to answer your question, yes, it's crack.

In other words, if I get addicted easily to MMORPGs, stay away?

I really dont think that WoW is as addictive as it is time consuming, I mean FFXI was time consuming out the *backdoor*, but when you have instances that take a group of 5 ppl 2+ hours just to complete is a little crazy to me.

So far from playing GW it does seem more fun to play even if for a little bit, I played for about 2 hours on my Necro and didnt even realize it. Where as i kept checking the time in WoW just to make sure I had enough PLAY TIME to finish the quest or instance I was doing.

While it may seem like I dont like WoW I do however just wish it was more CASUAL like it was supposed to be, not some 13 year old kid who doesnt have a job/wife/girlfriend/life based play style.

If you do have a real issue with game addiction, then it might be wise to stay away. Then again, you may not enjoy it as much as I am.

Well I'll be addicted for the first few weeks, then it'll die down a bit. But right now, I'm enjoying the high.

If you ask me...no. For me, MMOs are addictive because you have to kill just one more monster to get the next level, but GW is addictive because it's fun.

Thee should be a 1-800 number on the Box to help you get in to a 12-step program to help you get your life back(If you even want it ) after you have quit your job, lost your GF or wife, Lost 30 pounds ,and can't play as yu where kicked out of you house /apt. But ihere is always WIFI....

I get really easyily addicted to games. I was VERY addicted to knight online.
But I dont care. I still do other things.Just get a lil cranky when i have to get off =P
