PvP Only Ranger Pets?

Ive had an Ele/R since the betas as one of my characters. Not too long ago I charmed the Black Widown in the UW.

Recently I created a PvP only Ranger in my last slot. My question to anyone out there is this:

Is it possible to charm a pet with a PvP only ranger?

Using my other character I have unlocked just about all the ranger skills I need. Since the skills were shared with my PvP guy, I thought that by arming charm animal and upping my beast mastery attribute I would be able to use my pet as well. Unfortunately, the spider didn't appear.

Seems somewhat useless to have access to the beast skills if there is no way to use your existing pet or to encounter another animal in any of the PvP areas.

Anyone have any ideas how this might be done?

When you put on Charm Animal in PvP character, you are automatically given a Elderly Wolf.

May not be the pet from your PvE, but atleast you get one.

despite the wolf not having the "bling factor" as the black widow. i find its just as effective :3
