DirectSound - Pre-release not working

If you have bought the GuildWars Soundtrack via DirectSound you should have an email about an update which will upgrade the quality of the ingame sound and replace the opening theme.

Anyone upgrading and it is not working, I'm in this boat...

I have WMP version 10.00.00.3923
GuildWars is via download client (can't find my cd's)
I can play the updated lincese music just fine in WMP
My email address / login for DirectSound and GuildWars does NOT match
I had windows scripting turned off when I updated the linceses
I choose the default installation for DirectSound
Running Windows XP SP2 fully up to date
I have rebooted my pc

Having the same problems. Tried downloading the whole cd again but that didn't work as well. Didn't see anything extra download other than the liscense.

Tech Support was good with Direct Sound

Got it to work

Try this delete all copies of the files on your pc, re-download the installer.

Now the important part, Change the location of where the files are going to away from the orginal path it wants.

I decided to put the files in the Guild Wars directory
C:\Program Files\Guild Wars

Sounds so much better
