DIfference between pvp char and role playing ?

I was just reading some excelent previews of the game, and i came up on something intresting. A reviewer mentioned that if you create a pvp character it automaticly starts at level 20!, i just wanted to know if that was true. Also is there a benefit to having a role playing character and leveling him up through to 20 to just having a pvp char start at level 20. I mean are there any major benefits besides following the story line. And will a role playing character be limited to any restrictions because it is a role playing character compared to a pvp char?

PvP characters do start at level 20, but at the start of the game, you will only have a set of "Pre-made" options for PvP characters. (They are listed in the 'Builds' directory of this site.)

Roleplaying characters can unlock skills, items, and runes to be used for PvP characters, and have no restrictions on where they can go, or what they can do.

so..its possible to make your role playing character into a PvP character once your ready?

RP characters can, and even must (To get through the Academy) do PvP.
RP characers can do everything. PvP characters can only play PvP.
