Not the stupidest thing, but the unluckiest thing that has happened to you thread :D

1- gold salvage item dropped, my team all died...i know its only worth 8K max but that was back when i was a noob.

2- Bought a unid gold eternal shield for 30K only mod was quick recover from cripple lol.

3- bought gold unid fellblade- mod was 15% while hexed..

4- (pro at this) running to droknars forge and my comp crashed and i was accused of scamming for days...

5- Bought superior vigor for 100k, day before the price dropped tremondously to about 50K...

6- i got it back but traded my defender +27 health always 8 str req, 14%^50% 8 req 10/10 sundering +30 health fellblade, to a friend on accidnet since he was a friend, he gave it back.. phew

7- best drop out of about (seriously) 100 UW and 40 fow runs was a obsidian shard..

8- Spillled coffee on the keyboard while i was doing tombs... and lost

9- had a chance to buy a unid fellblade for only 50K -someone bought and it was 15 over 50...but didnt

10- kinda like what i said above but saw like 500 ppl buying unid weapons and was perfect mods and i tried doing the same but didnt happen..

11- casted archane echo with flare instead of meteor shower

12- Created a guild and a officer kicked all the members..

I was henching Riverside last night for the bonus....did really well....however:

1.Team got flanked by 2 groups of Necrid Horsemen just as I was trapping for the White Mantle patrols....

2. Rare gold item dropped by watchtower guard!

Bought a Scroll of Beserkers Insight for 65k thinking its is awesome ( 1 hour after update) the next day it was worth 5k

Rush 2 Guildmates from Ascalon to henge of Denravi just that they decide to delete their characters the next day and redo it.

Winnin 13 times flawless in the Random arena and then in the 14th round the monk hits the wrong skill and we loose flawless :-(

I jumped in with henchies to get spike trap when a gold max damage axe drops! Then I id it and there is nothing else on it, it's just a max damage axe that for some reason has a "value" of 292 gold...

Out of seriously 100+ UW runs, I've gotten 4 ecto total. You're more unlucky, but I feel your pain.

Here's mine, I'm missing one superior necro rune, I've purchased 17 unided necro runes trying to get just that one. 14/17 were curses and the other 3 were death, not a single blood (the one that I'm missing).

You can pick up those items. Go into first person view, get right up next to the tower, select the item and then hit your spacebar. Picks it up every time.

-Accidently sold a gold unident armor to the merchant. It was after a mission and my inventory was full. I had two bags and a pouch.

-Accidently bought two of the same 1.5k chest armor. Lesson learned. Don't buy armor when you tired, lol.

Purchased an expert salvage kit and immediately sold it back to the merchant by accident for half the price.

Running from henge to riverside, my teammates all spoke to the guy and "appeared" to log off...when really they just got teleported away.
I almost sent a nasty whisper to them...but i resisted until i remebered what to do, lol.
"Damn teammates quit"...nope, my bad.

Spent 10 minutes rounding up griffons, minotaurs and sand elementals but got hit with a sneaky distract from a rockshot. This took my DP to 30% and my health to...1 point.
Oh well, back to town.

When i first got the game, i sold a black dye to the merchant because i only thought it was worth 1gp.

with my healing monk, i sold 2 minor healing runes and bought 2 of that tatoo looking armors arms >.<

1. Spent a few hours walking from Piken Square to Grendich Courthouse only to be killed by Devouer just outside the door while Stefan (henchie) stood "stuck" behind a bush and out of Devouer sight so they left him alone. Of course we did not res and I had to start over.

2. Made the trip from Ice Caves of Sorrow to Granite Citadel, only to be within sight of the gates and my computer crashed GW due to full virtual memory.

3. Accidently salvaged purple armor instead of identifying it first... the rune I would have got turned into 2 bolts of cloth...

4. Wasted silver and black dye on my starter elemental robes when I first got the game...

5. Bought two sets of the same armor gloves, wasting my money and my materials cause it didn't seem like I had bought one on my first "click" of the craft button.

I got all the way to Althea's Ashes on my old level 7 character without dying ONCE, then as I went to click on the thing that completes the quest, I got disconnected.

LOL.

running to a zone....because everyone is dead....i am almost dead, with aegis one. get right up to it and a lucky hit strikes me for one more health than i have....drop dead with my head literally across the finish line...

got 4 ectos in my first time in UW....sold them because i thought they were like half chewed masses

Playing....helping people through the desert....coworker shows up at my apartment. I get up, open the door, he comes in and comments about how dark it is and flips the switch my computer is tied to....killing the power....

I sold my first ecto to merch for the very same reason D:.

I've also lost very good upgrades to Wood Planks.

Not sure whether to say "Thanks for the tip" or howl in frustration now....!

ha! Only reason I know is because I was lucky enough to have a guild mate on ventrillo when it happened to me and I was frustrated enough to complain on the voice chat.

Not GuildWars-related or particularly unlucky, but it is ironic. I've spilled coffee on my shirt at work twice in past 3 years. Both times was the only times I ever had a change of shirt with me. Heh.

Had a rare drop -on- the watch tower, couldn't pick it up >.<

However, we finished the quest right after that and I got it anyways.
