There is no justification for it.
Also, 'good job' is endorsing. You weren't just condoning it, weren't just 'not blaming him for doing it', you were cheering him on, along with a couple of others, that's what I reacted against. |

If I can, I solo whatever mob killed them. Otherwise, I calmly explain that I told them I was a smiter several hundred times, and then /bowhead or /dance over their bodies.

As a leader of many teams with my ranger, I try to make it very clear what we are going to to do repeatedly to everyone in the party and wont leave for the mission until I hear everyone in the party chirp up and state they're ready. People shouldn't just turn around and accept the slap in the face from a greifer or idiot then leave. |
I know it can feel bad, because you're hurting a real person on the other end, but what it comes down for both of you is that you're just playing a game, nothing more, just some pretty colored pixels on a screen arranged in polygonal fashion. That's all it is, a big fantasy coloring book with three-headed monsters, dragons, and vampires. I'm not saying its okay to scam people, be courteous to people, and if they aren't courteous back, you're best just walking away. You have no reputation to defend on the internet. I love my ignore list. ^_^| I realized later that there was a significant chunk after the slanted temple, and that he probably intended to go back after this initial fight |

We arrived at the crazy drunken slanted temple where three mages control obelisks and I realized, this guy is going to finish the mission without doing the bonus. No. So instead of helping them defend I ran out of the temple and aggroed several mobs and drew them in to the mages. I continued running around till the party was dead with only me remaining. |

We were doing... I think it was Ruins of Surmia... I could be wrong. I partied with one other who was in it only for the bonus and I advertised specifically that I wanted the bonus and the mission. I was also on my first mission with a newly recruited guildmate. This was the bonus where you have to follow the flame carriers to the corridor and kill them, it ends with the finding of the Horn and the crazy warp to Nolani academy. |

![]() It's easier to take them out when they're on the plain, so to speak, then try to get my eyes to adjust to that horribly slanted room and running back and forth. ![]() |
I've done that mission five times now, and three of them was with only one other person my level (whatever level you should be for that mission). All of those times I brought the mages to their posts and waited for the charr to attack. It's not that hard.|
