Althea's Ashes

Just wondering, after searching around the Charr temple forever my team never did find the ashes. Did anybody find them? And if you did can you tell me where?

i honestly didnt even know where the temple was, i knew it was in the diessa lowlands somewhere, but the diessa lowlands is a pretty big place, and lottsa dumb elementals around there, hard to kill for a mainly melee warrior/necro

My guild spent forever in that darn temple and never managed to complete the quest even after killing every single thing in the whole area INCLUDING the hydras on the outside of the temple. So rly, idk. I think it may have been bugged because a lot of folks seemed to have problems with that one.

I overhaerd people cursing about how they found the ashes, brought it back to the dad, and never got a quest complete or experince from doing so.

I found the ashes quite by accident I have gotten the Duke's Daughter last BWE when the Duke was missing Althea was in the middle of the road in the diesae lowlands. When i did it this time for a guildmate althea was by A charr temple rigth by nolani. if you leave Nolani and take the southernmost route and head over a bridge you should find the temple There were tons of charrs and bosses there but since we were there anyway we deicided to clear it out after clearing most of it out there was a char altar there and I touched it to get an quest update thats how I did the quest

We did that, killed all the charr in the temple area. It was actually kind of fun, had to use a lot of strategy to get the individual groups without having all the others attack.

Anyway, after we killed off everybody we searched and searched, touched everything and still didn't find them! I'm kinda glad the game is being restarted cause I'm really sick and tired of carrying around that darn urn!

People mentioned killing hydras if you killed hydras you went way too far north

the quest description was wrong dont go north to the charr flame temple corridor its basically right next to nolani in the last beta

When I went on that quest "the little green guide in the minimap" pointed me to Regal Valley and there it dissapeared, I came about the charr altar on another quest but decided to hump around it as I only had a group of henchmen with me at the time..
