Tradeskills???

Hi people,

I have searched for it but I couldn't find anything on this topic? Is it possibly to be fishing, making armor YOURSELF, mine minerals, carve wood, smithing weapons, making potions, collect fruit, being a cook, tailoring etc ?

I hope tradeskills will be in, it always make an mmorpg much more fun. Can be tirering just killing, killing, killing.

dude you seem to enjoy trading and all skills and tools associated to it, like i do. unfortunately guildwars doesn't offer much on that department. it even lack proper system of trading except spamming channels. yea i shake my head in disbelief this game has so many quality but this basic flaw will detract many ppl unfortunately..

I think he meant tradeskills such as Crafting.

what game made you so happy that this one seem so poor by comparison?

There are no tradeskills in GW, and I doubt that they wil ever be, as GW is designed to be a no grind game.

I think its awesome that they are making it a no grind game. However, it would be fun to see a few roleplaying elements beside killing. Like collecting fruit, fishing (without gaining skill), swimming?, playing chess (had a great time in UO playing this game and betting your horse or a cool item . Painting, cooking etc. Would be cool to implement these skills without having to gaining skill points/exp in it!
