Your WORST disaster from -LAGGING-

i was with a B/P group in Tombs. I had a Buwlrak for me on the floor... and couldnt make a move. so i waited for time countdown to get it as "unclaimed" reward, but Ta Daaaaa: Err 007

Hmm... probably not real bad but I got error 7 infront of the HoH in the Tombs instance

Not as bad as some above, but I was soloin' FoW with no problems when everything slows down and freezes.. you know when you cant move but you can see degen, and your char and nearby enemies do 'inactive' things like look around etc? Well, 45 seconds later and BOOM it all happens at once, leaving me with this screen and pining for my lost shard.

I now pick them up as soon as I get 'em.

hmmm i just happen to have a bad computer and ever since factions its been bad but the wrost time was, when i getting a free run threw all of tyira and i dropped still it was free but having the freedom to go where ever and not doing it urself but o well

Just last night I was salvaging some stuff while trying to sell my perfect Zodiac Hammer, and I was going across the rows in my inventory, but on the last one, it lagged, I ended up moving too far and salvaging my Hammer

My group was on it's way to beating the boss of "The Deep" he was at 5% health. And then 007 struck, it kicked our tank and the boss ran back, then we tried again and 007 struck AGAIN and kicked our last tank. Everyone lost hope and left.

Did you make that tale up?

Stuff like that never happened. There was only one roll back that occurred to date, and even for that rollback the game state was simply restored to an earlier time, meaning all your drops during that period, all trades, etc, are all reversed.

Not like your story where you "boom" lag out and in 30 seconds they rolled back the databases housing data for a million accounts.

I have no specific instance, but since the June 1 update, I've had a ton of page swapping going on that wasn't there before. It happens in both Factions and Prophecies areas. It causes me to freeze solid for 1 to 15 seconds every little while. I have literally done nothing else with that PC except play GW since the middle of May (I have a few PCs, that one is gaming only). I know it's nothing that changed on the PC. It has to be something from that update.

In any case, like that player who got used to playing with -60% DP, I'm pretty used to rubber banding FORWARD at this point... Usually into a mess I didn't want to be in.

Well, this is very tame compared to most of the horror stories mentioned. I received a gold drop that I identified and it was really awesome (don't remember what though....some kind of axe) and after a fight I opened up my inventory and proceeded to salvage all the worthless armor drops into crafting materials and then a lag spike hit and I accidentally salvaged my gold drop.

I do hate lagging when playing my monk. I get bitched out to no end when players die as a result and I can't even help it.

I have a PvP character(That i use) but i also use him as a mule. Well one day a friend says hey bring a WoH monk. Ok Usually i switch the items into storage. I rushed, forgot, and poof no more. lost 100k in rubies 40k in ecto and a few nice golds and purples none perfect

Its not the worst by far as mentioned above. But it was entertaining... Severe lag in the wake of Factions release and I was doing a mission in the Echovald... hunting that pesky moa. I lagged, the nice... everybody standing there than, -32, -23, -32, -45, -12, -42... etc. The henchies immediately disintegrate to a slightly below average coordination level 20 mob and are eaten immediately by the surviving spirits. We teleport over the course of a minute to the res shrine. I stand up and than see an explosion of numbers again... no mob around. Die again and again. -58% DP from one death I actually could stop.

Man, GvG is starting to sound like an RTS Game to me....

Many of you probably watched Pi in halls the other night. We won our first hall battle, then our leader error 7'd. However, we managed to still win 8 more times with a fighter henchie (without being able to kill anything).

The worst e7? Ive lost infusers in gvg/HoH.

I had a brain lag last week if that counts?
I reached the end game area in factions with my Ranger, exchanged my amulet for the green vamp bow and went off to get my new armor. So I'm standing there at the armor merchant, holding the bow and forgetting that it's a vamp and not noticing my health slowly counting down. Thankfully the monk from the party was standing next to me and noticed just at the last second and gave me some healing and some much deserved piss taking too.

A person from my guild was making a GW music video and we went to do the first mission so we could kill all the charr that you usually have to run from.

We were just running through the mission because there realyl was no point in killing the enemies. I got to the bit where there are the Gargoyles having a big fight in that big pool of sludge stuff and I started to run through after casting healing breeze. I got to the other side and started to run up the ramp and then I appeared back right in the middle of all of them ^^ I ran up the ramp again and the same thing happened, I tried once more and it happened again and then I looked at my health and it was on about 10! Then about 20 of them all hit me at once and I died

I was a lvl 20 E/Mo and got killed by about 20 lvl 5's. Well the Guild Leader won't ever let me live it down :P

I went with a group to FoW, everythink was going great we were doing that seed of corruption quest, we were all enjoying ourselves I think we got to like the 3rd seed or somthink and everythink froze so I'm thinking "oh shit" next second I was back in the login screen with a lovely box telling me that I had error7'ed
I was having so much fun too >_<;
