I have a question..... Is anyone else having trouble with the mission " thirsty river "?
Everything seems fine wether i'm running with my tank or in a group but once i get to the monk boss the preist wont die if i'm on my tank and in a group i played hell getting a guildie thru it took full group of 6 of use ( not usual ) I was running echo SS.
The bows armound the monk are constant interupt. hitting thru stances, even did 40 consecutive interupts thru reckless haste to my party with only 3 bows on the field. Is this a glitch or is this an anti run nerf?
To me the interupt is out of hand because stances and cover hexes are not having their full effect.
I finally got my guildie thru it but can someone look into this mission please.

Mermers? Everybody knows mesmers suck. They can't even do any damage. Unless there's a hex or a chant to strip that is. Or if the guy's casting something. Or attacking. Or has some energy on him.
But other than that they can't do anything. Except for stopping the enemy from doing anything to you. Like that's worth anything. Whoever died from getting interupted?
Mesmers suck ass, noob. Everybody knows that. That's why they can't even beg their way into a party. At least in PvE. They seem to be everywhere in PvP. Not sure why that is, you'd think those guys would know better. I guess that just shows how much more skilled the players are hanging out at Thirsty River.

I've had very little trouble with PUG in Thirsty River. I've beaten it with my warrior, monka and ranger multiple times. I don't recall having any problem at the monk boss part though. I think if everyone focuses their attacks on the priest so he dies before the timer then it shouldn't be a problem. I think that one problem I may have seen at one time or another on the mission is the group splitting their attacks on different monsters. There is a time and place to do that, but in most missions and quests there should be someone calling targets and everyone attacking that single target.

Or heaven forbid it, you bring a mesmer and win with ease. ok first off i'm far from noob.
Second i have faught the mission about 50 times
third i have ran the mission about 10 times as a W/MO
Fourth i have ran the mission as a MM about 100 times.
Fifth dont get sarcastic when i state where the problem is the amount of interupt out weighing the ability of the skills or number of enemy at hand.
I also had a pro runners opinion on this and something has changed slightly.
I asked if anyone was having this problem sense faction release. and bring a mesmer i bet you play hell with the interupt.
I know what it takes to beat this mission i have 10 lvl 20's many in fissure armour.
Please consider what is being said instead of playing your superiority complex over a GAME. if you need to be so ignorent over a question then go get a life.

and again not seeing the question. 3 bow x 8 skills = 24 skills. minimum recharge on an interupt is 5 seconds. so 1 :8 =approx 12%
in my group we had 6 4 casters and 2 melee. all the heals for melee were interupted and every skill in the group was interupted thru ageis, thru stances and thru cover of reckless haste. 50% miss rate. so 3 per melee x 2 =6, 4 x 8 = 32 +6 = 38 interupts in about oh 10 seconds.8 x 6 = 48 possible skills used. 38/48= 79% skill interuption thru arrow blocking stance, thru 50% miss rate, thru 50% evade. when their mas interupt should be no higher then 12% per cycle.
I did make it thru and have probably as much if not more experience running thru this mission then those criticising the disguession.
I did the math ran the number and show the numbers of interupt ARE beyond the ability of the number of enemy or ability of the skills they possess.
its not the monk boss.lol i can't beleive you all focus in on one thing like that.
the monk is the problem with the w/mo running.lol not leaving the chamber.
READ people please i am talking about the interupt from the bows. being to much for what they possess. do then math then speak.
