Best way to get tons of Kurzick Faction?

Topic. I need a whopping 70 Amber for this sexy armor...and that's quite the large sum.

(No, I'm not buying the Amber. I only have around 150k, and I still need money to BUY the armor! )

Any ideas? I've tried Atruum Ruins Faction Farming, but most PuGs there don't have a clue.

I managed to obtain a nice sum of Faction (Already obtained 10 Amber from it) through Alliance battles, but they rarely go off and victory is inconsistant.

Any ideas?

(EDIT: Miscounted Total sum. But I still need 60k for crafting. And 40k for Black dye. )

Farming Alliance battles on a sword w/mo with mending + healing hands works well for me, or even doing Aspenwood Gate on a w/mo healer with healing seed + healing hands (im on kurzick side so all i have to do is alternate those spells on the guy that needs to live to make the weapon.)

You could also try one of the repeatable quests that get you 400 faction. The Duelist quest just outside Brauer Academy seems like a good candidate, shouldn't take more than a few minutes with henchman for one run.

On the Luxon side the Supply Lines from Beakers Hollow can be done in ~2 minutes, just switch your secondary profession to ranger and buy the Stormchaser and Zojun's Haste (?) skills (increase running speed for a few seconds). After a few tries you should be able to easily do the quest while watching tv or alt-tabbing between Guildwars and GWGuru The Kurzick version probably won't be as efficient because of all the crippling traps set out by the wardens, but I haven't tried.

1. Run to the destination avoiding aggro of various mobs. Watch out for the random Oni triplet spawn.

2. Gank the monks first. There are always two monks in the first row. They must die first. Then you can focus on the rest of the opponents. Failure to kill the monks makes this much more difficult. Fortunately they can't handle 2 warriors and your blood spike.

Note: You will not always face the same foes. Sometimes there will be a back row of only archers. Other times it's 2 warriors, 2 assassins and another named warrior. Sometimes it's two earth elementalists, 2 mesmers and a named mesmer. The front row always has two monks.

Ah, thanks. That made the killing easy.

Only one problem: It's still quite slow. According to math, it'll take 10 Hours to get all the Ambers I need.

Sigh.

All the 400 faction quest appear to be repeatable - in fact if you zone out they reset even if completed and no credit claimed, so be sure to get reward first.

Happily, I'm in a Luxon guild so I can do the supplies quest. It really does take 2 minutes to get 400 faction. Sadly that is still a lot of grinding...

80,000 faction for 80 Jade

400 faction / 2 minutes (from supplies quest) = 200 faction/minute

--> 400 minutes for 80,000 faction

400 minutes = 6.67 hours

I guess I'll have to mix it up with PvP and other FedEX questing just to keep my sanity.

What happened to getting stuff as you naturally earned it?

What happened is the lack of unique quests and short number of missions, combined with the desire to get the great new armors.
