Title Suggestion - Based on XP

Hi. I was just wondering, that it should be nice, if there is Title based on XP. For example every 500,000 XP or 1,000,000 XP next level of this Title. Also, they should make some rank emotes for this Title, so it should be something like PvE rank.

Better than "gold sink" for the win. If you want to imply about how 'skillful' a title can be, take a look at the 'Drunkard' title. All those people that want to get drunk and have the money have that title. Wah, wah, wah.

ummm... just to let you know, the bots are being banned as caught, and I dont really think those botters are caring to check this title..
this is a good idea, and let the grinding begin if they add it, anyways look at those people who just pvp all day, tehy just get mad fame form pvp, and get into good groups form their rank
I dont see how going into the troll caves over and over would be a bad idea to get the grinding started, and if GW didnt want this, how about nerfing 55 monks, and the riposte+deadly riposte+otehr skills troll pwning build.

Wrong. That's the HA monkeys. Ever consider the people who GvG? Considering that's an even higher level of PvP than HA is. Yet winning even high rated GvGs don't get you fame points.

i dont see why a title for HA would be made, but this would not be made... can someone please explain how being an HA monkey is any more LEGIT then being a PVE monkey??

please dotn respond with "HA takes more skill" because no matter how easy it is to do 55 farming, it was a VERY HARD build to learn/make, also... look at IWAY, not too hard if you ask me, same with bloodspike.. and MANY MORE..

simply because it would be nice to see if that person you just invited into your party hit lvl 20 3 secconds beforehand, or whatever.
this would help a lot to determine the difference between experienced/unexperienced people with certain character types. (one of my complaints about rank is that its universal for the account...so someone who got all their rank as a monk could join your team as a warrior/ranger/nec/ele/mesmer/rit/asn, and suck like no tomorrow...exp is strictly based on that one character.) and it could actually work agasint botters since the rank wouldnt lie; if you get some monk in your party with 8 million exp...chances are its not from playing missions.

Your kidding right... 55 farming is so easy to do its stupid. And seriously if you found it difficult to make the armour i begin to wonder what you were doing... LA tats cost about 2k, unless you go the whole hog and use Droks tats and make 4 different head tats too theres nothing even remotely difficult about making it. To use it all you do is

Giving out Titles for gaining exp is just stupid, power to the obsessive farmers in that case. None of my chars have over 2mil exp and none have done farming excessively. I just use them for different things, so exactly how is discriminating my 500k exp mesmer just because she doesn't have a title saying she has 5mil exp so i must therefore not know how to play it?

If you wanna see people who know how to play there character look no further than Protector of Tyria. It may not be entirely helpful, but you can guarantee people won't have used the exact same build from Great Northern Wall to Hells Precipice. Of course it doesn't help if people have skipped the Jungle because it simply sucks, but you can see how someone who has all 25/25 missions and bonus' done with that character knows how to play it.

No thanks. I already ran into a guy in hells precipice not long ago who was bragging how good he was because he had 4 mil exp. Like that says anything at all about the skill of somebody. If they gave you some kind of title like "Old Mcfarmer" with no emote or anything, that would be kind of funny though.

the only 2 titles i believe in are:

Missions + Bonus

Elite Skill Capping

(and even the Missions and Bonus can be run, but after desert its hard to get this title)
Elite skills are the only title i recognize as it shows the person has enough experience to take on hard bosses and has the skill to work with other people in PUGs and cooperate.

Rank Titles? uh no. after IWAY i just gave up on that.

someone mentioned a tractor emote once. i had to laugh, but its true. farming does not equal skill , and there are a LOT of farmers out there

omfg can u guys get to my point already, LOOK AT THE HA FARMERS, NO ONE CARES ABOUT THEIR TITLES, IT TAKES NO SKILL!!, also kakumei i said 55 was hard to MAKE UP, and matsumi, if u are crying over sum1 bragging over 4 mil exp, look at all the emotes i have to go thru daily..

Title based on XP? That's not recognition of skill, it's no different than showing how long you've played the game. There's a big difference between one guy with 1 mil XP who has died more often than he should, compared to a guy with 1 mil XP who knows how to play the game. But of course, this title wont show that, and it's gonna bring alot more ignorant people who will only form groups with high level XP.
