Maybe it was the character change but I found the Luxon quests so much easier and the Kurzick so much harder.
ele/ass for Kurzick
mon/rit for Luxon
Maybe the hencies were better I don't know. Did anyone else find it that way?

And yes, the Kurzick quests were a lot harder, I tried them both with the same character (R/Mo) and those Dredges are bitches. |

I didn't like Luxon, so I went back to Kurzick after a while.

Luxon mobs were much easier and spread out so you could avoid them if you wanted. Their Ritualist healers were also not too great, in that you could simply outdamage the heals.
Not so for Kurzick land. Very compact and mobs everywhere. Even if you tried to avoid them, Onis would pop out of nowhere. The Wardens of Earth are also quite nasty with Churning Earth. And those damn Dredge Garderners...

I ran the first few towns in Lux land with a War, not bothering to do anything runner specific, with Rt as my secondary.
I switched over to Kurzik because I thought the wide open nature of Lux land would make it a noob magnet, and found that running in Kurzik is at least as hard as running to Droks. I'm not even sure it's possible without certain skills and items, and if somebodies doing it with available gear this beta I'd like to see the screenies.
UNfortunatly, The added dificulty doesn't seem to have helped with the noob factor, proof yet again that even the toughest PvE can't compare to a human opponent.
All of the above.
One of the most striking differences is the patrolling patterns of the mobs. In the forest, they usually patrol with a significant amount of overlap that makes it much tougher to avoid double-aggro. Pulling would work, unless you've got the Kurzick henchies who don't know the meaning of the word "pull" (or "run").
On the Luxon side, you have an excellent interruptor (Daeman) and a great Mesmer to shift the balance.
And the Dredges are noticeably tougher, even though everything in the preview is an even Lvl24.
