melee/pet build?

I did a search but didn't find exactly what I was looking for. First off, which would be more efficient of a build warrior/ranger or ranger/warrior. I'd be going with swordsmanship because i've never really liked just standing back shooting or casting at stuff, I like to get up in the enemies grill and taste the blood and sweat or battle. I'd also be going beast mastery for sure just cause I like pets. I understand that with w/r i'd get physical dmg protection from my armor and could go with something like swordsmanship, beast mastery, and tactics. With r/w i'd get elemental dmg protection from my armor and could go with something like swordsmanship, beast mastery, and expertise. Which route would accually be better or is there an alternative better route I could take? I'm not too sure which swordsmanship skill to go with but I know for beast mastery i'll need charm animal, comfort animal, and a call or two. If there are any builds or threads already out there that I have overlooked, please direct me to them.

from my experience, calls tend to cost 10en or more so running a warrior primary would mean that you are hurting for energy. a ranger primary would do better with expertise, but you are very limited in terms of melee. basically, there isn't all that much synergy with melee and the beastmastery line outside of Tiger's Fury. there is a PvP premade build available that is a warrior primary with an axe and an elder wolf:

4) Healing Signet - (0,2,4) You gain 92 health. You take double damage while using this skill.
5) Charm Animal - (10,10,0) Charm target animal. Once charmed, your animal companion will travel with you whenever you have Charm Animal equipped.
6) Comfort Animal - (10,1,1) You heal your animal companion for 76 health. If your companion is dead, it is resurrected with 42% health and all your skills are disabled for 8 seconds.
7) Call of Brutality - (10,0,25) For 30 seconds, attacks by your animal companions have base 34% armor penetration and deal +9 damage.
8) Call of Feeding - (10,0,55) For 60 seconds, attacks by your animal companions have 9 base damage reduction, and your animal companions steal 15 health when they hit.

2) Comfort Animal - (10,1,1) You heal your animal companion for 76 health. If your companion is dead, it is resurrected with 42% health and all your skills are disabled for 8 seconds.
3) Call of Brutality - (10,0,25) For 30 seconds, attacks by your animal companions have a 35% base armor penetration and deal +9 damage.
4) Hundred Blades (elite) - (5,0,8) Swing twice at target foe and foes adjacent to your target. This is an elite skill.
5) Final Thrust - (10a,0,0) Lose all adrenaline. If Final Thrust hits, you deal 32 more damage. This damage is doubled if your target was below 50% health.
6) Galrath Slash - (8a,0,0) This attack strikes for +32 damage if it hits.
7) Gash - (7a,0,0) If this attack hits a bleeding foe, you strike for 9 more damage and that foe suffers a deep wound, lowering that foe's maximum health by 20% for 17 seconds.
8) Sever Artery - (4a,0,0) If this attack hits, the opponent begins bleeding for 21 seconds, losing health over time.

I think that build is good.My only worry is the amount of adrenalin you need to pull off some of those skills.I think I would replace 'galrath slash' with 'for great justice'.For 15 seconds your adrenal skills will recharge 2x faster.You would be able to pull off a nice lil combo with your sword skills.

why no Tiger's Fury? you're going beast anyway.
