Ventrilo channel idea

Me and a few friends have a 100man ventrilo server, Highquality.

We were thinking of putting in some public GUILDWARS channels, for people to use for pugs and such for UW and FOW and other PVE events, even pugs for HoH.

Also had an idea of offering passworded channels and channel admin to guilds who need a vent channel or something, giveing them some help

If ya think its a good idea leave a post or priv msg or contact me, if people think this would be an awesome idea ill arrange this asap

It seems like there's already a lot of vents out there like this, but sure why not one more wouldn't hurt

I would come on and say HI every now and again, and maybe even just sit in there while other vents are open. I will get on IMing you soon too!

I haven't used a public vent server before -- if I'm in a PUG that wants to use your server, do we just log on and create a channel?

most guilds, or for that matter any kind of gaming clan has some kind of voice chat software server for their group. We use TeamSpeak, which has always been free for NON-PROFIT gaming clans... The best thing is NOT making it public access Make it for your guild alone, and you will not have the ongoing problems that CONSTANTLY plague other such services...

If you make it public, get ready for abuse. You would have to moderate it closely if you expect anyone to come back. Otherwise it seems like a generous plan.

Although I've never been on a voice server with 100 people before... Is that like being a crowded restaurant, except everyone is talking in your ear?

Theres 10 of us with complete admin (buncha reallife friends) someone is always on to control abuse. And there can be like say for example, 10-15 PUG Channels and such for people to divide into so not everyone is in the same channel (obviously..) and such, wouldn't be too hard, and TEAMSPEAK is ok, i personally like ventrilo better, its much clearer than any CodeC of teamspeak but, your choice personally

I love the idea.
I would appreciate having a free vent server to use, as I'm sure would many others.
