admitting to a scam, how stupid can u possibly get

seriously, this guy admitted that he scammed me, i was pretty stupid for not checking the name but i never knew about these spider webs, its only 1k though, no big deal.

too bad anet wont think of that as a scam tho, its called buyer beware, always mouse over what you're buying to make sure it is what they said it was.

Why not take this up with Anet then? I mean, just cause you can't READ the words when you mouse over something in the trade screen... that's whose fault again?

To OP: chances are they won't do anything because you weren't careful enough to double check the trade window. At least it's only 1k... which is like, 5 min worth of farming?

Dgbtboy, no offense but he didn't need to scam you, you scammed yourself. Just be glad that you didn't buy 100 of them like it looks like you were going to... with that talk about 100k. If your buying a Gold weapon are you not gonna scroll over it to make sure its not just some random white item?

Both parties are at fault here. However since the scammer admitted to lying and purposely selling him a web instead of ecto then yes it's a scam no matter how careless dgtboy was. If this was reported the scammer WILL get banned.
