Yo, I don't know if this is common knowledge or if it's already been posted. But what's up with the new Mesmer skills?

It's symbolic!

You see the kid stands for humanity. It's symbolic of youthfulness, innocence, curiosity. The path is symbolic of the road ahead, mysterious, un-charted. While Zangief is symbolic of me, Super Spin Pile Driving that little rat head first in to the dirt road!

Cheers!

Why would they do that? Is there something offensive about it? Besides child abuse by a fake/fictional character.

that is exactly it

believe it or not some people including the one who asked if that was what it looked like might be offended

it is posible on a family friendly site like this it might be considered in poor taste

however that is for the admin/mods to decide

Then I can only say that those people are the type of people that would get offended at the site of there own shadow. They offend me actually, if that is the case then I wish the admin would block them from the site.

Thank you for your on topic reply Soiled Egg Roll! I have no Idea what skills they are. I found them in the skill listing when you download the fansite kit. They have names and images but no description. I know the third image's skill is called "Disappear" while the fifth image's skill is called "Combust Phantasm"

The Big Bad Wolf (admins) isn't as wicked as Loviatar might think.

Cool pictures, MuGz. Like with all mesmer skills, it looks like the artist was high on acid drawing them .

MuGz, where did you download the fansite kit from? Combust Phantasm.... whoooo.... sounds cool. Can't wait to see what it does. Also, I wonder if Disappear means that you can cast an invisible spell on yourself or on of your team or if it means you can make someone disappear and appear in another spot.

While I'm not sure about this, I seem to recall someone mentioning that those are old skills that don't exist anymore and that the "skill sets" haven't been updated in quite a while,

hmmm, I can't seem them taking skills out! Most of the time if they are unhappy with a skill they just revamp it.... It will be interesting to see. It would not suprise me in the slightest if they just released the game with 5 extra skills per profession just to mix things up. It seems like a Arena Net thing to do...

Yep. The Elementalist skills set still has Glyph of Gesture in it and Ranger skills set still has Tongue Biter.
