frost gate secondary mission

do any of u know how to kill of that huge group of monsters at the placewhere the plans are? everytime i try, all the monsters rush at my group and kills us. it gets annoying cuz they have like 5 healers in that group so everytime i almost kill some1 they would just group heal that person

it was slightly easier for me the second time i ran through that one
as due to my lack of direction sense we went left at the fork instead of right
looped round in a huge circle and actually came at that group from behind
the guy with the plans is quite close to the back and was easier to pick off
then you just have to run in and get the plans

Kill the dolyaks first. If you move slow you should have two stone summit and two dolyaks to kill. Take out the two dolyaks and the stone summit are easy. Then move forward and repeat. Or you can try and bait them out to where the artillery is pounding the bridge and let it help you. In either case, don't grab the dwarf for the bonus until after they are dead. The bonus is so much easier when you don't have to worry about him dieing

Since ur an ugly ranger, try getting 2 monks or MORE TANKING! DD

I just edged forward until only 1 of them was in my line of sight (the little circle on your map that mobs aggro at), then retreated back a good ways (without directly attacking them) so that I wouldnt catch the whole group with my charging tanks.

It works, you end up fighting them one small group at a time, and yes, you DO want to target the dolyaks first. Those guys are annoying. This stratagy works for me consistantly and almost always without fail no matter what im facing. If your using henchies its the closest thing you'll get to pulling

Make sure your dwarf ally doesn't get killed or you won't be able to complete the bonus mission.
