Collector Bias: Axes?

How come hammer and sword warriors get all the collector items late in the game? What about axes and strength-based shields?

i agree with the bias, ive found it hard to find collectors who offer any axes, ive only seen swords and hammers. Same goes with collectors who offer helmets, the majority are for swords and hammers, i know there are collectors for helmets for axe mastery too in the game, but it sucks that there are two collectors for sword and hammer at a city place whereas the executioner helm is in the middle of nowhere. whats up with that?

Actually, I've found it the other way, I've seen less Swords than anything else. Then again once I got my 15-22 Forked Sword of god knows what I have it now, and my Defender armor 16 +27hp while enchanted I stop'd going to Collectors period cuz they don't give me anything I could ever want and or need. Ive seen very few swords at the collectors tho, and mostly Hammers. Thats just me tho.

end game collectors give out items on the premade pvp characters, so they're well worth it =)

Like my monk focus +12 energy +15 energy +25 health energy regen -1

Or my mesmer focus +12 energy 20% faster cast illusion skills 20% faster recharge illusion skills =)

You can also get a nice 15-22 +15% while enchanted longg sword (but actually looks like a rin blade) too.

Yeah, i've not actually gone to a collector in a long time, I don't need it. If I want an Item I could just go out an find someone that has it, or ask a guildie lol. Chances are its there somewhere. I just know my Sword adds armor and makes them bleed longer I don't need anything better than that

Please, the last three posts were completely and utterly off-topic. There are no max damage axe collectors in game that anyone has seen in the collector's thread and that does cripple us because we can't get all of the modifiers a PvP axe might have even using gold items. Please pay attention to us axe warriors, Anet.

I've been looking for a str based shield for ages. Still have yet to find one, and don't feel like paying for one. I could always start trading but atm I'm fed up with trading system. I tend to Merch everything or if it's worth a lot I sell cheaper than most because I despise spamming trying to find a buyer.

There are max dmg axe collectors. Look at the one in Arid Sea, marked W in the collector listing on page 4. It's max dmg and +15% in stanced. I haven't been able to find an enchanted one or what not.

Yes, there are strength based shields. I have one, but my friend gave it to me and I don't know where he got it.

they need more axes...from collectors. i fight axe-based but collectors just give armor, bows and swords.
