Way to buy just a cd key? not the game

Is there a way to just a cd key, not the actual game? my friend wants to buy a cd key and download the client. if anyone knows HELP!!! -_-!!

Why the angry face? And why not just buy the game? Or are you hoping that a key without the rest of the game might be cheaper? At any rate, I've never heard of buying just a key.

No like....not buy the cd for 50$ but mybe buy a cd key for like 20 or 30$ becuase my friend is low on $.

Download the client from the mainpage of the GW site, launch the client and follow the instructions to buy the CD key...

I doubt that you will find it cheaper then the gamebox itself..

you are paying for the content and the rest of it

the stuff in the box costs are minimal and can be written off as a business expence

you are paying for server costs and all that goes with it

the cost per account to them is the gameplay over the net not simply the physical product

think about the million aol discs that go out every day i use for coasters

Yeah.. you just have to take the risk of them using the key. I could sell you my cdkey, but if I'm using it 99% of the time, or never log out, then you'd just be screwed.

My advice: have your friend save up a little cash, and buy it someplace inexpensive like costco or target. I think costco had it on sale for 35usd and I saw it @ target for 39usd.

Well anyway you can buy jsut the CD Key there, same price as the whole package game though.

I ordered my Guild Wars online, (actual CD), the only getting out of my chair I did to get it was to go downstairs, and to my front door in the hallway and pick up the package put through my letter box.
