E/Mo suggestions?

I am doing PvE right now, but I want to do PvP later. What should I invest in? I am only level 7 right now and am just learning the game, so any help is appriciated. I have noticed after getting to the post-searing (didn't mean to do that mission yet either =[) things have gotten REALLY hard to survive solo, so I could use some advice.

Right now I am mainly fire and energy storage, with a point in healing and smiting. I have all 24 of my recall points, and I wouldn't mind using them....

Sounds like you're on the right track already. Most PvE E/Mo builds tend to go Fire + Energy then branch from there. Cast Aura of Regen then spam Flare; that's a simple and effective strategy for fighting singles and small batches. Large groups will be tough to handle unless they're toward the low end of your xp-able range, but...

E/Mo also lends itself well to henchman groups. You can get a tank hench plus an additional or two if you want. Then use Flare or AoE as appropriate, switching to heals if the tank is getting too beat up.

I am a E/Mo and at lvl 15 now.

The start of post-searing I would run out aggro about 4-8 mobs two levels below me and then use my three AOE spells and mending to increase my regen rate. That allowed me to nuke the mobs who won't run away.

At higher levels this formula doesn't work so well until you get your better armor again.

Aura of regen and mending I dont have, do you have any idea where to get them?

Keep doing quests, some of them will give you more spells. You can also buy them at Skill Trainers.

Will fire be the best for PvP? Or is there something else I should put points into?

At your level, don't worry about PVP. Respeccing your character and turning him in a completely different direction takes no effort at all even after you've reached the max level. It's never too late to decide you want to try something different.

At the early levels of PVE, focus in fire and energy for the most part, with some healing perhaps too. When you get to the high levels and have access to many abilities, there's no need to ask anyone else how to play, there are countless strategies for every combination of professions and figuring out what works best for you is something you will have to do. Just keep playing, and don't worry about making decisions that will affect your character in the future, because it is extremely easy to undo anything.

For PvP, I find the E/Mo Healing Spammer the best build. Instead of healing in big chunks like a normal Monk, you heal by sheer volume of spells. Plus, parties welcome you with open arms.
