New skills

I just saw all the necro skills and lots of the new skills are the same as the old 1, any 1 else see this or is my english just not that good?
if there are the same so whay have they added this new skills??

Some skills have just changed the name and pic (just remember about Shell = Chittin)

Tiger Fury = Beastial Fury

There are an ungodly number of these things in there. I saw at least 3 in ranger and a couple in ele with only a quick first glance at the skill lists.

I'd assume that one will be Ch1 only and the other Ch2 only, so that they're "balanced." It feels like a cheap way out, and is quite disappointing. I'm not too sure about the people with both chapters who will, for example, be able to have an ele with dual Crystal Waves on your bar (Crystal Wave and its duplicate... something's Crystals... can't remember the name). It's effectively giving up a skill slot to halve the recharge of the skill.

...I'm gonna have to think about this one some more.

You have to remember this is a preview. I'm sure some form ANET will be scoring some of these threads for feedback. They aren't going to release everything at once and ruin the big surprise. I wouldn't be let down just yet. I would look at this as a beta test.

Don't forget we now have Soul Reaping skills.

I hope they don't release carbon copies of chapter 1 skills. They could have made them core skills. I found those repeats pretty disappointing but maybe they are just placeholders for now and Anet hasn't fleshed out the balance in them yet.

also remember guys that the game is a stand alone. many skill will be similar so that the factions-only player have some of the same capabilities as we do.

to me, thats a good thing .. doubling up on a few skills doesnt sound to bad to me

Is it possible that the descriptions are just placeholders? This is a beta after all.

FFS how hard is it to find a complete list of all the skills for this thing? Must I pine away until I can get home from work?
