Simple Really You Going to Merge Accounts or Not?

Merge. From what I've seen so far, it just seems silly not too.
My 6 core classes will have 100 skills compared to someone who doesn't merge having only 75.
I'll have many more armor options available to all my characters.
My entire map with grow and allow much more for me to do PvE-wise.
And...from taking over my girlfriends account, I know just how retarded it is to have separate accounts. It hasn't even been more the "extra" character slots...re-unlocking almost ever skill...getting all my characters decent weapons and armor again...not worth it at all...and I won't ever do that for the expansions.

Only reason I'm going to merge is to have access to all of chatper 1 and 2 skills on one account.
I have another account of chapter 1 so I have 4 extra slots already. With chapter 1 being cheaper and going to drop in price I buy another copy if you are looking to get more storage.
Need a friend to xfer stuff but hell you need a friend to do just about anything in this game.

Looks like nearly everyone will be merging then, me included.
Lots probably feel that Anet is a bit tight with character slots, but, when it comes to more content over more account space, usually more content wins out.
I do wish that the collectors edition did come with extra spaces, that would have been a great inscentive to buy it (I already am anyway..), but I'll manage.

I'm definitely going to buy two copies of factions to merge with two of my four accounts. I really regret buying 4 copies of the game
, especially with 2 campaigns being released per year.
I like my characters as they are and want to bring them to the new lands. Although you get 4 slots versus only 2 if you upgrade, you will be worse off because you will only have 4 slots available to use in Cantha instead of 6.
I really don't see what all the complaining is about. Of course, I would be happier if our characters were able to jump and climb
.
I do mainly PvE however with the new Guild Alliances, I will be doing more PvP also.

They were real smart on this - See - Without ch1 key on the account, ch2 characters dont have access to MANY good ch1 skills not deemed "core". Like Spiteful Spirit is an example I think
And if you already have a PvP slot - YOu'll still have it - plus 2 slots for sin and rit. If you just have 4 pve characters...Why are you complaining about no pvp slot in factions?

I think anyone in their sound mind would merge.
Unless you really do not care about your characters and want to go thru the hassle of unlocking skills again.
Plus u do not get to have all the skills with the ch2 account.
Merge is the logical answer here and I wonder why people would not merge.
Having 2 extra slots does not compare to actually taking your current characters to ch2 and beyond.

After all this I am more lean as well into merging I do have 2 accounts but I think I will only be buying one Factions copy but I will make it CE.
Don’t really fancy unlocking all the skills again for the 6 default characters.
But i dont think i will be travelling to Tyria, i am sure it will be empty anyway.
And Later on i can always get another copy of factions if i run out of things to do.
