Xennon site is great for elite skill, but it's not required to have an axe and disrupting chop to get Defy Pain, as they say. It's not even true he'll use the skill when he's got like 75% life. The Pinesoul uses it randomly, but more often if he's reduced to 50%/35% Hp. Either you spam the SoC or you keep an eye on his health bar. Everytime his HP suddenly raise but no Skill is shown, that's Defy Pain.
Getting this Elite won't be easy at all.
