Tainted MM's

In general, do you expert MM's like this build? I'm not sure the dmg from this elite skill (and Death nova perhaps), is enough to warrant using these skills. Usually, I am too busy getting and maintaining my fiends. I would rather not spend more energy spamming Tainted on my Horrors and/or Fiends. comments appreciated.

I do want my minions get killed, otherwise i wouldnt be raising horrors. I even drop them on purpose with Taste of death when I see them in good position to damage lots of mobs.
Tainted flesh is not very suitable for minions, but rather a nice addition to list of enchants on tank in your group.
But death nova - yes definitely. It is very easy to see which of your minions are going down and put nova on them.

I agree, it's fun to use death nova on a horror then use taste of death to turn it into a bomb. I started out trying to use tainted flesh, but it's basically useless especially when you get a big army going because you have absoutely no control over which minion enemies attack. Putting it on a tank as Ira suggested is a much better idea, but even so I don't think the skill is elite-worthy and I'd rather bring rotting flesh for spreading disease.

Yeah I'd use Death Nova over Tainted Flesh for my MM. Tainted is really only good for tanks- longevity is the name of the game. I'd rather carry Offering of Blood for my elite. 'Course that'll change once Factions comes out.
