Yo. Celestial Sigils allow your guild to make a guild hall. Players sell them for at least 50,000 gold. They are found by winning the 'Hall of Heroes', located at the tomb of premieval kings. If you win the hall of heroes, a celestial sigil will be given randomly to one person on your team, as far as i know.
A guild sigil is what you use to purchase a guild hall for your guild to have their own "home" and GvG battles.
You can get a sigil one of two ways.
1. Win the Hall of Heros tournament
2. Buy a sigil from someone who has won it.
Either case is not easy. At the moment I'm seeing sigil's advertised at 40k-50k and my guess is they will probably continue to rise for a bit. They are tough to get as everyone wants one for their guild.
Guild Halls really aren't that important unless you plan on doing organized PVP. Even though I can see why you would get one even if you don't PVP in guild to much seeing as my guild wanted one so I saved up 36k......
I don't want to rain on peoples parade. but....
Don't buy them off players for 50k etc. If you take the boat ride in lions Arch and visit the arenas there is an NPC in the arena that will sell you a sigil for 40k.
Any player selling them for more than 40k is just trying to scam you!
well, the NPC will only sell them if someone sells them to her first. Which most of them don't do. And how much that NPC sells them for depends on how many they have.
Are you talking about the guild hall NPCs? Before we bought ours off someone, we spent days checkign those NPCs and of course they never had any in stock. Or is this something they have changed recently?
No I haven't, but it would be nice if they made a change in that area. I've noticed GW has been really good at fixing things people tend to exploit (like adding expert salvage kits to Old Ascalon so people can't sell at higher price, and changing the look of dye remover so people can't pass it off as red dye).
