ok, before i get any more requests from people to pm them the location (which is, in and of itself, an interesting request), i just want to say that i only said that to mess with the OP.

no, i do not know where the black chest is nor do i know of its existence. nor do i care.

however, i really didn't want to call out the OP but his request really was very selfish. i know there is no flaming allowed on these boards, so i suggest that this thread is closed. he asks for people to help him confirm something, yet he will not offer any help in return with regards to additional information. these boards are a place for free discussion. if you want to keep something a secret, then don't post it at all. if the OP is so unwilling to share the information with the general public, what makes him think anyone would share their information with him?

that goes for the rest of you "pm me the location" people. you should be ashamed of yourselves. what makes you special enough to receive information via pm rather than asking for the location to be posted publicly? Well said...

This box is fake. On the other hand, I found a genie lamp in pre searing catacombs and when you doubleclick on it (while its in your inventory) a cloud of smoke appear in front of you and forms into a woman who claims to be Gwen from future. She kept asking for a tapestry shred and said that she will exchange a black-dyed full fissure armor for it.

Being a newbie back then I didn't know what the heck was going on and I sold it to a merchant for 25 gold pieces. When I later realized that annoying girl with broken flute was named Gwen as well, man I felt so stupid.
