Baptized By Fire

Baptized By Fire is a multi-game clan whose Guild Wars division has been around since July of 2004. We are a clan that promotes good sportsmanship and having fun while also striving to be very competitive in all the games our members play. We currently have other strong clan divisions in a variety of FPS, RTS, and MMO games. We support ourselves (other than by member donations) by offering web-hosting and server-hosting solutions to other clans in order to keep us out of the red.

Baptized By Fire is currently recruiting for Guild Wars. If you are looking for a clan that rewards commitment and hard work while also allowing its members to kick back and have fun then BBF might be the guild for you. BBF's Guild Wars division is looking for both normal members and clan officers.

How'd your clan get its name?

Well, back in May of 2001 the original founders of the clan were at work somewhere in the fine land of Canada. They had an new clan without a name, and apparently Baptized By Fire worked the best for them. It's amusing sometimes to have a clan name like ours, since people tend to take one look at our name and think we're some kind of bizarre religious gamer cult. If playing competitive games with a zealous ferver counts as something religion-ish, then I guess they're right.

Wait, we're not a religous cult?... Sheesh, I'm always last to hear....

I wouldnt say its a "religious cultish" name, more like a Christianish name, since it is taken directly from Christianity
