8th anniversary

I don't play GW1 since GW2 came out, not that I play that much either, got tired of the WoW experience...

Anyway, I still have 50+ characters with 30 of them turning 8 this year, what is going on with the anniversary???

Assume nothing.

Probably---->nothing new, the minis will be the same ones from last year, and anything else that went on last year. Basically, they have 'automated' every event now. They have said nothing about it so far, but dont anticipate anything other than what we have had in the past. (IF they had something planned, by now they would have said something about it).
Since they didnt even bother doing anything new for april fools (not even fake update notes), I doubt that anything new will happen (especially since they have their new baby gw2--wouldnt want to take anything away from its 'glory').

It doesn't make any sense either. I mean EQ1 is what 14 years old now and SOE still does update and expansions.

EQ2 is pretty old too and new expansions. Not sure I understand NC Soft and ANET

Anet sees the game as limited, stagnate, and not fun.

same as other years, i guess..... so its NOT "nothing", in case someone makes it sound worse

so yea, they could give us a bit more to enjoy, and i dont mind old mini's, as i may get 1 i like, but never had enough luck for to get (like eye of janthir from 7th year gifts)

and if its 1 week, it'd be great too.... its once a year anyway

(though I dont think we will get a new pet companion this year like last year, nor the 'facebook' page---just the same junk dropping and the same minipets---perhaps I might get a more limited edition one--though the prices should be dropping for those at least).

and yeah, golden eggs would be nice as well (still need 4500 more chests opened!)

I mostly want more eggs so I can have 19 in Fast Casting.
