Which way to go

Zaishen Rank 3 for HoM is the easiest to obtain.

Complete the Zaishen Challenge Quests to earn Balthazar Faction. These are PvP tasks that change daily. You can repeat them as many times as you want, all you need to do after turning one in is to re-zone or go to another district.

You will convert the Balthazar faction gained from these quests into Zaishen Keys (from Tolkano). Then you will go into Isle of the Nameless and use them to open the Zaishen Chest. This is what adds points to your title, what you actually get out of the chest doesn't matter.

Another method is to trade Z-keys from other players. This makes Zaishen Rank unique in that it's the only PvP title that can be legitimately "bought".


Tips:
- z-quests have bonus objectives but none of them give extra faction, only z-coins. If you priority is to get z-keys and max the title then it is more efficient to ignore the bonus and turn the quest in as soon as you complete the primary objective

- new pvp players start with a very low Balthazar faction cap. remember to dump your faction often so that none of it goes to waste!

- the Jade Quarry and Fort Aspenwood z-quests do not award Balthazar faction. They should still be done though, because they give Imperial faction which works toward your Kurzick/Luxon title.

Just to be clear, if you're going for 30/50 HoM, getting the pvp title is horribly inefficient. If you were to go for Zaishen Rank 3, the money used for that title is enough to get another character to 30/50 with some money to spare.

If you are determined to go for a pvp title then the zaishen title is fastest by far, unless you're just a few points away from r3 in glad or something. Still, I would only try for the zaishen title if I was wealthy enough to do it without problems or had enough zkeys to start with (e.g. wealth).

If you can't get a pvp-title on a convenient way then I suggest you try with cheaper stuff, another destroyer weapon or two is much, much cheaper than 200 zkeys.

If you figure that you really need to pvp title, then I guess doing a full run of zaishen elite every day wouldn't be too bad, it'll take 166 days to get 200 zkeys that way though.

As the others have said, Zaishen is the easiest to get, however I recommend you do everything else first, as the pvp title will be the most expensive points to get in the entire HoM.

Depending on when you stopped playing, you may not be aware of this change from Feb 19, 2010.

Every account now gets 50 free tournament reward points from High Priest Zhang in the Great Temple of Balthazar. They will appear in your Hero panel (press H, under the last tab). After speaking to HP Zhang, speak to Tolkano (also in GToB) to register your account. After that, you can speak to him again to exchange those 50 points for 10 zkeys toward the Zaishen title (5 points per key).

Zaishen hands down. I've been doing the daily quests (you don't just HAVE to do pvp to get a the zaishen pvp statue), and from them you can get a key from a gold zaishen coin.

It's also handy if you have a few characters that can get to the same area to do the daily quest. Recently there have been a few easy quests popping up, takes less than 20 mins per character and you get gold+zaishen coins.

Imperial Faction can be converted to Balthazar Faction (at a reduced rate) to earn more Zaishen Keys, though.

It can be really annoying to get the consecs needed for Glad, but you're guaranteed Imperial, win or lose, from doing JQ/FA. If OP is set on getting the PvP statue, I'd say scrap the Alliance Battle idea (it's a ghost town and waits are unbearable) and stick to Jade Quarry. Ever since the update that introduced Imperial Faction, it's so easy to just switch to whatever side is sucking least and rack up the faction. Trapping/Nuking with the boyfriend once a day in Zaishen Elite can also add some keys.

Don't trade gold z-coins for keys. Gold z-coins can easily be traded for 2 ecto each, which in turn can be traded for 3 keys. (1 Gold Z-coin = 2 ecto = 3 z-keys)
