Sugession: Title: Zoo keeper

I know this has been suggested under a different name before but was never elaborated on.

Title: Zoo keeper (or Zaishen Zoo Keeper)

Tire 1: have all animals of 1 campaign unlocked.
Tire 2: have all animals of 2 campaigns unlocked.
Tire 3: have all animals of 3 campaigns unlocked.
Tire 4: have all animals unlocked.
Tire 5: Have all animals and evolution unlocked. (so all animals to lvl 20)

So what do ya think?
yes to some this would be a grind fest, but that is subjective.
Personally i'd love such a title.
(especially with the new Panda pet.)

Can't do. You can unlock them all via store so you can basically buy the title with irl money.

can you buy the level to 20? or the exotic? I don't believe so.

No, you can't buy exotic animals, but the unlock pack unlocks any evolution step for the basic ones, lv20 included.

A title is probably the wrong path. ( so close to GW2 n all )
Maybe something like a Zaishen pet capture quest?
I.E. you MUST go to Dragon's Gullet and capture a Moa for the quest...
even then though people will have to get rid of pets weekly or w/e : /. guess you could use heros to cap..

Pets are under used and pretty much forgotten.
Probably more the clunky pet mechanics tho.

Yeah, I've always thought it would be fun to go around and capture every pet in the game with maybe some reward (like a pet hippo or something like that) but the unlock packs kind of kill it.

You can get the exotic animals with Zaishen coins. That's how I got my Panda, with 15 gold Zaishen coins.

Titles for things like this, that can be unlocked from the store, are pretty much redundant.

You can buy the pets from the store, just like you can buy the unlock for skills from the store, apart from the elite skills. <-- that I see a fair excuse for.

If it was to work the same way with pets, it would be silly to have a title for 6 or 7 prestige pets.

Sorry OP, but there is no valid argument for adding more titles as a form of reward.
I do like the idea of rewarding pet ...play but i can't see any fair way to implement a reward : /.

I have a complete Menagerie, and I'm against this title.

It's true that you can't get prestige pets with the pack, but the number of prestige pets is VERY small compared with the rest.



I do agree that would be nice to have a way to show off a little, like a way to bring people to visit your zoo (while they have charm animal disabled so they can't get your pets), or some option you can enable to let other visit your HoM and Menagerie freely even without you by selecting you in an outpost and pressing a button that would appear like the trade button.


But not even that is really necessary.

OP was asking wether the unlock pack available on the Store also unlocked Exotic pets, which it doesn't.

- As mentioned, it's almost purchasable. Once you got the unlock pack, all you need is Zaishen Coins to unlock the rest, or some very short trips to the locations of the missing ones and some hours of junundu farming in the Sulfurous Wastes to level them enough to unlock the evolutions. Not something worth a title.
- Too many titles already.
- Won't happen right now anyway, the developers already mentioned no new titles and armor sets will be added to the game in the future.

And no more titles for GW1, ever, please.

This idea is ancient.

It's also an unwise one since you can simply buy a pet unlock pack and instantly have (most of) the title.
