Quest After Dragon's Lair

ok well people have been telling me there is a quest after dragon's lair i have to do in order to get to the the ring of fire or what ever it is but i cant seem to find the quest...

ive already searched but couldnt find anything, so im just wondering does anyone know what and where i have to go?

Seeking the Seer is the quest name, that leads you to Ice Caves of Sorrow-mission. Talk to someone (don't remember the name) in Droknar's Forge, he should be near the armor crafters.

There are 3 missions in the southern shiverpeaks that you have to do before getting to the fire island chain.

The one that will take you to the island is Thunderhead Keep.

I assume there is a Elite skill you want to capture in thej Ring of Fire mission.

Nope, you don't have to do any quests. You only need to do the Thunderhead Keep mission, which you can run to all the way from Droknar's Forge if you want. Everything else is optional (quests and missions along the way), but IMHO they're fun and worth doing. Just do the usual thing and talk to all the NPC's with "!" over their head, and you will get there. Nothing tricky about it.

But you wont be infused if you dont do the iron mines thing, unless you want to face ALOT of ice imps in the mineral springs.... ppl tend to leave parties when they spot uninfused people in the fire island chain.

Plus there are a lot of neat elites in the southern shiverpeaks missions. I got my favorite one so far in iron mines, Life Transfer, near the end if you skip the end boss for i second and keep going the way you were when you come into the area (forgot which way in north east etc terms) youll see a group and the boss has it, its a necro skill though...

Yup, you can get infused when you farm for an IDS (go with a group that is skill capping of farming), out of Granite Citadel pass the ICE imps the Seer is there as well.

You just need to do Thunderhead if you want. But IMO do all three missions.
