Guild Wars Costumes

I went to buy a costume for guild wars today, but it denied my card. Are they still selling the costumes? Do they accept Debit Cards?

Yep afaik there are known issues with the ingame store it has not accepted transactions for me on multiple occasions contact support.

The store is still selling all the costumes (individually, not the packs) and it does accept Visa Debit Cards - I've used my VDC for purchases via the in-game store without a problem.

If your having an issue with your card.. make sure your entering the billing information exactly - ie exact same name as whats on your card (ie if your name is Joe Dundee Bloggs.. but card only has Joe Bloggs.. then only put Joe Bloggs in the "name" field.), the address that your bills are sent to, correct country.. if any of the information is incorrect/inaccurate.. this could be why it's rejecting it. If it's all correct and your sure there are funds available... then you can contact support regarding this matter and they should hopefully be able to help.

You can also try purchasing from NCSoft's web store.. they sell the costumes there as well. You'll then need to apply the cd-key to your account - I believe.. I haven't ever purchased anything via NCSoft store before. The web store might accept your Debit Card..

There seems to be a problem with the store.
I've been trying to buy a Merc Hero Slot for the last 2 days, no luck yet.

It may depend upon the type of Debit Card. A card that only does direct withdrawal from your account probably won't work, but a regular Credit Card or a (Visa) Debit Card that also partially doubles as a credit card (pays the company though the CC company and then transfers from your account to the CC), should work fine. (unless of course the in-game store is boinked at the time)
If you only have a Debit Card and no CC, you could use one of those pre-paid credit cards.

There definitely seems to be a problem with the store - it denied my credit card twice, but then it let me pay by paypal on the same credit card with no issues 5 minutes later.

I had issues with my card once, years ago. Turns out I needed to enter the billing address veeeeeeery specifically, or it wouldn't take it.

I had that problem yesterday, but I tried later and it worked. I think it was because I was trying to purchase two things back to back.

So in other words, I should keep trying?
