Connection Issues Today? 10-9-11

Red latency spikes.

Loading back into game after a hangup on login, hear sound..hear people messaging me and the bar says fully loaded but I am still seeing just the loading screen.

Been happening off and on all night. I've restarted, reset and whatever else I could think of, but this is getting severely irritating.

I was also experiencing a lot of slowdown on ncsoft website and the guild wars wiki.

Frozen in place again!! What a treat.

Hanging up on every district change, or map. Places I've been a billion times and it's taking forever to load.

I actually was about to post a thread about this lol.. I don't have any problem in guild hall, but it takes about 1min to load any other map and i usually end up freezing 30 seconds later

What's fun is that i don't get err7... i can still chat( i see what my mate is saying but i can't see what i'm myself saying) but the screen is frozen, noone is moving , etc...

Experiencing the same. tried changing to int dis hoping it'd be better there, but It's been 2 minutes since already and I'm still in the first district >.<

ANET fix these damn servers! the same thing is happening to me

Working fine here, sometimes you have to reinstall guild wars after they've done an update or if you haven't loaded GW in a while. Might be an easier method but I've been forced to do this a couple of times...

I had some problems yesterday night as well (Western Europe). I didn't disconnect, but from one moment to the next I found myself lagging horribly. I restarted GW and was still lagging. I didn't disconnect automatically though, and it seemed ok after a few minutes, so I don't know whether it was a GW server problem or if windows or another program decided to start updating without my permission again >< (if windows checks for updates I get red lag spikes)

I have got excactly the same problems, my internet works just fine but gw doesnt. Hope they will fix it soon, cus i have never problems with connection.

So I tried my pre character and it worked fine, but all my other chars couldn't even log in.

No it is Anet, nothing to do with anything else.

I'm getting a ton of error=007 and generally, after I get the error and try to load back in, that's when the loading freezes and sound just.. is what it is.

All the while though, conversations are sporadic as I play catch up and many times I send a message that doesn't appear for awhile. A LOT of rubber-banding.

As someone else said above, I too can do anything else on the web, with exception to any A-Net, or NC-Soft pages. Has anyone else tried this?

I cannot even log on to 4/10 of my main accounts characters now. Once they get the 007 and dc out, that's the end of logging in on that toon. I get hung up on the loading.

Same here, maybe one or two 007's every now and then, but nothing serious and my ping is good.. can't help ya'

What the hell are they doing? Backing up stuff? Maintenance crap?

Whatever the hell is up with servers, be nice if they posted something about it or sorted it.

Not everyone will be having issues, depending on net topography I guess, but I am talking to a few dozen on vent with identical problems and we are not happy to left in the dark about it.

Cannot even seem to access the 'official' support forums, for support.

Awful here too, takes a couple of minutes to load into any map, pings are averaging about 8000, frequently getting frozen on the spot for a minute at a time.

I'm going fine, just got a couple of random 10k ping spikes during whole day, maybe just my crappy wifi. Lots of ppl in ally are experiancing bad lagg tho.

Pretty bad here too intermittently (east central US), sometimes ~75ms, sometimes a few thousand. Currently in the one dungeon where you need to run around lighting braziers.. makes it a lot more challenging to get them lit lol.

Extreme lag here in US East Coast. Wonder if it has something to do with all of the flooding affecting overall internet on the East Coast insofar as Anet servers are concerned? Rest of my internet connection seems fine.

Problems here too, IP 206.x.x.x server (euro dis) works well, but 64.x.x.x (amer dis) cause code=007

All of my characters are in American districts. I can't use any of them. Either times out with a 007 or loads the district then I'm unable to move/map out.

Same here from Toronto. 64.25.39.0/24 seemed like it was ill today.

Issue appears resolved now though.
