LT Thackeray hates my drake kabobs

Have passed on all the ingredients to him but when it came to food (i have 2 x drake kabobs in my inventory) , he doesnt accept mine.

Any idea whats happening here?

I have tried truffles as well, he took them but the quest hasnt been completed yet

You sure you didn't give him Kebabs or similar?

The quest "completes" when he says somthing like "all I need is the girl" or similar, then you simply enter HOM and a further dialogue will initiate.

Pretty sure its drake kabobs in my inventory, upon trying to give him the kabobs,

he replied,

"what do you mean this passes for food?what is this mysterious fare? You think you can really top drake kabob? I doubt it, but i suppose a few backups cant hurt"

Thackeray got so annoying with the stupid neverending needs I gave up.Worst quest ever.Following wiki guide didnt help.Is this bugged? Not seen it reported as such.Has the feel though.

If you give him to much food he wount accept more..food.

I believe that after you have given him three accepted items in a category - food, sweet, drink - he stops accepting anything in that category.

Try going inside and coming back out to see if you receive the "get the girl" dialog.

Try givng him other stuff. He likes booze & sweets

^^ This is what I meant, you can only get PAPER WRAPPED PARCEL once per "ideal" item such as Votive Candles, after that you can only hand in crap, which gets you crap.

Go into HOM and finish the quest dialogue once Thackery mentions he only lacks the girl etc.

...also I find that having NO sweets, foods, alcohol or candles in my inventory helps to get the last dialog (I find if I have any of those I just keep getting the dialogs that go with them instead of the final girl dialog)

jk, make sure you haven't finished the questline yet. that was my mistake, and i ended up with like 10 extra food items i meant to trade in.
