I heard a rumour going around that there might be content similar to War in Kryta released eventually, but pertaining to the other campaigns. That may or may not be true, actually if its not, this question becomes useless.

I was wondering what happens to the weapons situation for hall of monuments. I was way before caring about the hall of monuments when they added tormented weapons as possibilities to add and I was offline for several months around when they added oppressor weapons.

I plan to have 50/50 in my HoM before any additional content comes out, but I was wondering what happens if they add a new group of weapons that are dedicatable in the HoM. Will the total suddenly go above 50? Will I have to come back and get a new kind of weapon to maintain my eventual 50/50?

Thanks for any answers you can give.

There really isn't a way for us users to know what will happen, but I don't think it'll go over 50. They'll probably just throw the other items in with the generic Full Display or Display 15 weapons points.

Winds of Change will take place in Cantha.

The War in Kryta and Hearts of the North are part of Guild Wars: Beyond, which covers events in the years following EotN that tie into the background of GW2. There will be more GW:B content, starting with Winds of Change, which takes place in Cantha.

We don't know if any future content will include items that can be added to HoM, such as weapons, heroes, or elite armors. However, the total number of possible points will stay at 50 regardless, just as it does when new minis are added to the game (like the minis from the new Zaishen Strongboxes). You would just have more ways to fill each monument and earn those 50 points.

I vaguely recall ArenaNet stating that 50/50 will be the max for HoM.

what about the 30/50 just for all the bonus items? just curious about what others think if they added more stuff to fill in the last 20

No, they won't. The last 20 will be titles only, period.

But that's actually not a bad idea. I can see them making up another 10 HoM points, awarded for WoC-specific stuff. It will be interesting for people who already got their 50, and also help those who got 40 to make 50 in a manner that doesn't involve spending millions.

Most likely you'll probably earn enough medals of honor in a run through of WoC to earn another oppressor weapon. And you'll probably get Miku as a hero and be able to add both Miku and Keiran to the hom as optionals. Yay...

I don't. They stated that 50 points would be max with only 30 points required to unlock items for GW2. The rest are purely cosmetical - displaying a title - and will not give any additional equipment. And that's all good.

I think they are trying to keep HoM rewards at a moderate level for casual players. While it's easy for exp. players to reach 30, for very casual players it is a moderate time investment.
