That... is a good point. I've never noticed that (but then Im generally just holding alt to find the storage box and looking at other things)

I went in the Game at this moment to confirm it.

I never saw this tree before, may have added after the festivals Winter/Halloween or after they added the extra chest.

Yep fairly sure it's been like that since atleast Wintersday 2007.

Odd...I stand in that spot almost everyday and have never noticed it...
Either the tree is very selective towards whom it will appear, or I'm blind.

I've noticed it before, its one of those things that sticks in my mind when hanging around the storage doing some trading.

From the older screenshot, I suppose I've just not noticed the tree before, because usually that area's covered in people/nametags.

After last night's update, all the idlers were presumably still in the old version, so Kamadan was a lot less crowded than usual. I guess this is why I noticed it.

Does it look a bit like an Iboga to anyone else?

Dudes, the tree was always there from the starts. People just tend to ignore it since its ugly and stright away on chest.

In that corner there's also Dhuum, a squadron of Ash Legion Charr who got lost, and a baby elephant. But due to always being filled with traders, nobody ever notices! Plus, they integrated well, the Charr are repairing shoes, Dhuum is selling Elonian flatbread and the baby elephant is giving rides to little kids and minis. I talked to a couple of the Charrs, they shrugged and said it's an honest living.

I've seen the tree and think it have always been there... however never noticed it floating...

Its intermittant.....you can only see it 'blue' days or if your char is the same sex you are ^^

Last years , day after day doin` trades there and I haven`t noticed it ..

It has been there since at least ‎Saturday, ‎December ‎11, ‎2010, ‏‎9:22:50 PM. That is the time stamp on the earliest screen shot I have that shows the tree.
